|SFHA dismayed at plans to cut Energy Efficiency Funding|
The SFHA has today (Wednesday 3rd July 2014) reacted with dismay to UK Government proposals to cut the Energy Company Obligation (ECO). ECO is the main source of funding for energy efficiency measures in Scotland, and is vital to cutting fuel poverty and reducing the carbon emissions that cause climate change.

Commenting on the announcement by the Liberal Democrats that they plan to “significantly reform” ‘bedroom tax’ rules (1), the Scottish Federation of Housing Associations (SFHA) said that the policy was ill-conceived and must be abolished immediately.
