With the Welfare Reform Bill now rapidly progressing through Parliament and a national rollout of the Coalition Government's new Work Programme scheduled for the summer, the SFHA's Welfare Reform conference aims to brings together a range of housing association, housing support, third sector and social enterprise organsiations, to hear about how the proposed measures will impact upon people and communities across Scotland.
This conference will provide delegates with an update on the plans for wider benefit reform and address the issues and challenges which have arisen during implementation. You will also hear more about the SFHA's own research work which has been carried out in support of its "Housing Benefits" campaign. To see the interim findings of the report click HERE.
The conference will be held on Wednesday 4 May at the Grand Central Hotel in Glasgow. This newly refurbished and reopened hotel is located in the city centre and is adjacent to Glasgow Central Station and only a short walk away from Queen Street Station as well as the Glasgow Subway network.
