Thursday saw the official opening of the Hillcrest Group headquarters in Dundee, by Lord Provost John Letford.

The group HQ is a key element within the re-organisation of the company's facilities. Consolidation of the core, corporate services within the HQ allows devolution within satellite facilities located more accessibly within the communities they serve.
The HQ is located within the established landscape of the Dundee Technology Park and the building is created mainly from a limited palette of concrete, glass, aluminium, local stone and timber.
John Mulloy, Hillcrest group Chief Executive commented that:
"We are proud to achieve a BREEAM rating of ‘Excellent' for our new headquarters. Sustainability is an issue central not only to the HQ building but also to the direction of the group itself.
"We are aware the impact our business has on the livelihood of local companies so formed strong partnerships with local companies and contractors to complete the project within agreed timescales and within budgets.
"We have been in our new office since the start of the year and are enjoying the building's flexible layout and new surroundings."
