SENIOR ASSET SURVEYOR
BASED AT FREELAND DRIVE, GLASGOW
£29,957 PER ANNUM (RISING TO £31,863 AFTER 12 MONTHS, SUBJECT TO SATISFACTORY PERFORMANCE)
35 HOURS PER WEEK

Working as part of a dynamic and forward thinking Asset Services department, you will play a key role in delivering sustainable reinvestment and surveying solutions.
As a Senior Asset Surveyor you will manage the delivery of stock condition surveys and other property inspections including fire risk and health and safety assessments in line with organisational policies and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance. You will also identify and commission targeted value for money asset investment plans as well as ensuring that investment works are delivered within budget while achieving statutory and contractual obligations.
As a proactive, well organised and innovative problem solver, you will consistently demonstrate a customer first approach in your activities and thrive on the challenge and opportunity this role will bring.
Ideally, you will be educated to Degree/HND level (or equivalent) in a construction related discipline and will have proven experience within a building and surveying environment. Proven experience of working to tight deadlines is essential as well as a working knowledge and understanding of current practices and legislation.
Frequent travel is a requirement of this role; therefore a full, current driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential.

Previous experience working in surveying and asset management is essential.
Experience of manaing a team is desirable.
Travel between Sanctuary sites is a part of this role, therefore a full driving licence is a requirement.
