New Chief Executive appointed at Dunbritton Housing Association
Dunbritton announces new CEO.
As a result of the early retirement of its Director Morven Short, Dunbritton Housing Association has announced that it has appointed Allan Murphy as its new Chief Executive Officer.
Allan has over 25 years’ experience in housing in a range of senior roles, both in local authorities and at Hanover Housing Association; and he is currently on the Board of Management at Melville Housing Association in Edinburgh.
Allan joined Dunbritton in 2014 as Customer Services Manager and has led the reviews of customer services, rent and service charges and resident involvement.
He also played a lead role in driving the association to achieve the Committed to Excellence Assessment – 2 Star Award, and Dunbritton is currently working toward the Recognised for Excellence Award.
Allan said:
“I’m really looking forward to my new role and continuing to build on the excellent working relationships I have built with all of our key stakeholders over the past two years. I’ve really enjoyed working with Morven, and I am determined to continue building on the association’s strengths moving forward.
“I wish Morven well in whatever she does in her retirement, and I’d like to thank her for her massive contribution to the growth of the association.”
Sephton MacQuire, Chair of the Board of Management, said:
“Having known Allan for over two years, I am confident that we have the right person in place to keep up the good work and lead the association onto further success.”
