SFHA Response to Administrative Justice and Tribunals Council

The Administrative Justice and Tribunal Council has issued a discussion document and questionnaire entitled:  "Administrative Decisions made by public bodies in Scotland where there is no right of appeal or where the right of appeal is inaccessible or inappropriate."

There is a housing section contained with in Chapter 4 of the discussion paper, and the questionnaire section 5 contains four questions asking if there should be more right of appeal to housing decisions (made by housing organisations), and whether the courts, tribunals or the SPSO should have a role in such an appeal.

The SFHA shall be submitting a response to this section, and would welcome any comments that you may have.   The deadline for responses is Tuesday 31 January 2012.
