The SFHA's Guidance Booklet on Housing for Refugees and Asylum Seekers provides guidance on the 1999 Asylum and Immigration Act, and how housing associations can assist in accommodating asylum seekers. It also looks at longer term resettlement housing issues for refugees; how housing plays a key role in successful, longer term resettlement, and good practice examples of housing associations working in partnership with refugee agencies.
