Pentland Housing Association is a key provider of social housing throughout the county of Caithness and through our subsidiary Pentland Community Enterprises we also work with our tenants, the local communities and our partners to identify business and development opportunities that contribute to the economy of Caithness and the North.
Due to an organisational re-structure an exciting opportunity exists for a suitably qualified and experienced property services professional to join the Pentland Housing Association senior management team.
The provision of high quality social housing, mid market rental properties and the maintenance of those and the future development of any new units is central to the role as is the management of well established Care & Repair and Handyperson services and contributing to our wider role activities.
Managing a team of 5 direct reports and reporting to the Chief Executive you will also have a key role to play, as a member of the senior management team, in the development and delivery of strategic and operational plans for the organisation.
Ideal candidate will have:
Experience of working in a property/asset management role at strategic/senior level with budgetary responsibility is required and experience in the Social Housing sector is desirable but not essential. This is a demanding and varied role providing strategic leadership for the department which requires experience in the management of a range of property related functions as well as the ability to contribute to wider organisation goals.
An attractive pension scheme is provided. Annual holiday entitlement is 40 days.
