We are Scotland’s leading provider of housing for older people, with a history of continuous improvement in the delivery of housing and customer service.

Our Asset Management team is delighted to be recruiting to the post of Maintenance Officer (Fixed-Term). Reporting to the Planned Maintenance Manager, the successful candidate will play an important role in ensuring the provision of a cost-effective Asset Management service across all programmes in the Central Belt region. The remit covers all structural maintenance and facilities, including landscape maintenance.

The successful candidate could be based either at our head office in Edinburgh or at our area office in Glasgow.

We are looking for someone with experience of:

  • Drawing up specifications, following tender procedures and writing reports
  • Diagnosing the cause of building defects and specifying remedial work
  • Inspecting component condition and forecasting remaining life
  • Managing contracts and associated planned maintenance projects

A relevant qualification in a construction or maintenance discipline is essential, as is a current driving licence.
