Salary: Band C (£39,347 - £42,537 per annum)
Location: Glasgow City Centre
Full Time: 35 hours
The Policy Lead actively contributes to the SFHA’s success through supporting the day to day operations of the Membership and Policy Services Team. This role is one of 5 policy leads in the Membership and Policy Services team.
The Policy Lead will have a key role in representing members’ interests through lobbying and campaigning on their behalf on social housing and community regeneration issues. They will continually keep abreast of relevant government policy, produce high quality position statements and reports on key areas and inform and advise others within SFHA as required. They will be expected to be able to adapt to changes, prioritising as appropriate to ensure that they can react swiftly to events which in turn enables members’ interests to be championed.
The post holder will be required to work flexibly and be responsive in moving between strategic themes as priorities shift.
