JOB ROLE: PSL Lease Administrator
SALARY: £21,614 to £26,417 PER ANNUM [DEPENDENT ON SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
HOURS: 37.5 HOURS PER WEEK, MONDAY TO FRIDAY
CONTRACT TYPE: Open Ended.
Link Housing Association deliver the city of Edinburgh Council's Private Sector Leasing Scheme (PSL). PSL deliver this service to over 1,000 landlords with approximately 1,400 properties. The leased properties are utilised by the council to provide intermediate temporary accommodation.
We are looking for an experienced lease administrator to join our property team. This role is pivotal in ensuring leases between the landlord and the council are maintained to a high standard and to issue re-contracting notices in line with established processes.
The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for landlords looking to re-contract with the council. You will have a high degree of accuracy in data processing with excellent customer care and relationship management skills.
A background in Estate Agency, lettings or property management is advantageous, and excellent communication skills and negotiation skills are essential for this role.
You will need:
- Good general standard of education
- Knowledge of and commitment to excellent customer care, tenant participation and equal opportunities
- Relevant administration experience
- Intermediate working knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Word and Excel
- Experience of using electronic document management systems
- Experience of working in a relevant customer service environment.
