Salary: £32,850 – £36,071 + essential car users allowance and final salary pension scheme
Working within our Asset Management service, we are looking to recruit a highly customer focused Property Officer who will play a key role in delivering our repairs and maintenance service to our tenants and other customers. Duties include instructing, managing and monitoring reactive repair work, planned and cyclical maintenance, contract management, Health & Safety compliance, pre and post inspections, managing contractors, void inspections, estate inspections, checking and authorising maintenance invoices, maintaining effective audit trails, tenant participation and customer satisfaction.
You should hold a technical or professional qualification in Building Construction / Technology and have extensive experience of all types of property maintenance, possess excellent communication, organisational and administrative skills and will have worked in housing or a similar field, dealing with the public. You must have a driving licence and the use of a car. Experience of digital maintenance systems, in particular the ability to work with and analyse information in spreadsheets and utilise mobile technology on site, is essential.
