Aims of the Community Childcare Hub Project

Thanks to a unique partnership between Flexible Childcare Services Scotland (FCSS) and Abertay Housing Association, families on low incomes in Dundee are being given greater opportunities to engage in training, education and improved chances of employment.

Job Description

The post holder will be required to provide support and advice to low income families regardless of tenure where need or social isolation is identified.  They will provide training where appropriate to enable the resident to become digitally capable.  They will also assist people to access the additional childcare places to enable them to participate in the services offered

The role would also provide individually tailored digital support and advice to residents claiming Universal Credit for the first time and provide energy efficiency advice to help maximise savings.
