Job Description

We are one year into an aspirational and ambitious 5-year strategic plan and are looking for a talented and innovative leader who can turn our property and development vision into reality and drive positive change. With a £175m portfolio of homes, a commitment of £50m to build 353 new homes, with further sites in the pipeline and a significant Asset Management budget over four years, the job will be fast paced, challenging and interesting. Often housing association’s new homes are their show stopping product but at Loreburn H A we are as committed to investment in our current stock to ensure we offer quality homes with the highest energy standards to loyal long-standing customers. With fuel poverty a significant challenge in the region, the Director of Property and Development role will take forward our Strategic Vision to ensure our asset investment results in energy efficient, quality homes for our customers and the development of new homes to Passiv Haus standard. We need the help of an expert to achieve these goals and the Director of Property and Development will position quality homes, new housing and people at the heart of our business.

Due to our ambitious development programme, the recent creation of an in-house Repairs Service and the significant challenge to upgrade the energy efficiency of our existing stock we know we are looking for a talented, resilient, customer focussed individual. Someone able to interpret and drive big picture thinking within a culture of empowerment and innovation.
