Neighbourhood Officer
EVH Grade 7 (£33,642 - £36,941)

These days Southside Housing Association (SHA) is a complex, community controlled business. We are more than just a housing provider, and our customers rely on us for a variety of services, some that you would not automatically associate with a social housing provider. We also invest millions of pounds every year in modernising and upgrading homes and build 50-100 new homes each year.

We provide specialist advice to hundreds of residents each month on welfare rights, benefits, debt and financial management. We also have a commercial subsidiary company, SFARS Ltd., that provides factoring and property management services to home owners and manages 200+ Mid-Market Rent (MMR) and privately rented homes.

Job Description

We have a vacancy within our new Neighbourhood Team which aims to deliver an excellent service to both the Association’s social and mid-market tenants.  This role is specifically in relation to Allocations, Estate Management and all other related Tenancy Services.  The Neighbourhood Officer is the key problem solver for residents and pivotal in bringing together a range of internal and external partners and services to support local communities.

Further information is contained in our application pack which can be obtained from our website: www.southside-ha.org, or e-mail: recruitment@southside-ha.co.uk.
