We have a fantastic opportunity for you to join us in our new role of Assistant Development and Delivery Manager, supporting us in our strategic priority to build the right homes, in the right places for our customers. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills, supporting us to deliver our new-homes development programme for Scotland. You’ll be supporting the delivery of our mixed tenure schemes on time and to budget, ensuring that an excellent offer for our customers and communities always lies at the heart of delivery.
You’ll help and support the team to manage and deliver projects from start to finish including site identification, project appraisals, completion of legals, planning permission, site handover right through to the end of the Defects Liability period. Working alongside our Development & Delivery colleagues across a number of sites, you’ll assist them in carefully managing income and expenditure to deliver our schemes against key performance targets. You’ll use your fantastic interpersonal skills to sustain good relationships with our developers and contractor partners. You’ll be reporting to Elaine one of our Senior Development and Delivery Managers, and working alongside Stuart our Head of Development and Delivery who is passionate about delivering market leading homes of the highest quality for our customers. A bit about you
You’ll have a great knowledge of residential led development and project management, as well as the planning system and delivering against design standards. You’ll ideally have some previous experience in the delivery of new homes on site, but more importantly, bring a passion and willingness to learn all aspects of land/development and professional project management. You’ll impress us with your eye for detail, organisational skills, passion to learn and excellent written skills, being able to write clear and concise reports.
