Job Description

Campbell Tickell are proud to be recruiting to the role of Group Chief Executive at Wheatley Group.

Wheatley is one of the UK’s most dynamic, agile, and best-performing housing, care, and property-management groups. Wheatley owns and manages over 93,700 homes and delivers award-winning services to over 210,000 people across 19 local authorities in Scotland.

The Group has been the UK’s largest builder of social-rented homes for four of the last five years and employs 2700 people directly and a further 2000 staff as joint owners of one of Scotland’s largest repairs and maintenance companies, City Building (Glasgow).

Our new Group Chief Executive will be joining us at a crucial time as we build on our unparalleled success, deliver our new five-year strategy, and address ongoing and significant external challenges within the housing and social care sectors, and also in the wider economy.

We are looking for you to deliver further innovative solutions, taking us from excellent performance to outstanding and keeping our customers at the heart of decision-making.

This will require an exceptional individual with an inspirational leadership style and a clear track record of success as a strategic leader in significant large and complex organisations. What will mark you out is your talent to communicate with and influence a wide range of involved stakeholders and partners.

For a confidential and informal discussion please contact James Tickell on 07986 657 614 or Gera Patel on 07813 149 629.
