Job Description
About Us
Home Fix Scotland (HFS) is a non-charitable, for profit, commercial subsidiary company and is part of the RCH Group.
HFS began trading in August 2016 and currently has in excess of 120 members of staff. Since being established, the activities undertaken by the company have grown considerably now including several planned maintenance and property investment projects, as well as grounds maintenance and other property related services.
However, this is not the limit for HFS, as there are plans to continue to grow and diversify this company further.
The Role
River Clyde Homes is the charitable parent company for the RCH Group and is one of the largest social housing landlords in Scotland with a vision to ‘improve lives and places’ and it is important that the HFS Board supports this vision and has the ambition to take the company further.
The HFS Board comprises a combination of representatives from our RCH Parent Board, RCH Executive Directors and also independent Non–Executive Directors.
We are committed to promoting equality, valuing diversity, and challenging prejudice and discrimination in all its forms. We aim to ensure that membership and participation in the governance of our organisation is open to everyone, and applications are welcome from all.
We are looking for self-motivated and innovative individuals to join existing Directors on our commercial subsidiary Board and we would welcome interest from anyone with appropriate skills and knowledge. However, we are particularly looking for applicants who have a legal background; or with HR experience; or with experience of a commercial subsidiary company.
