Development of Procedures - Housing Services

Glasgow Based | Cernach Housing Association Ltd

Closing date

28th May 2018, at Noon

Cernach Housing Association owns 800 units and provides a factoring service to a further 135 owner-occupiers. We operate within the Drumchapel area in north west Glasgow.

We have an up-to-date range of policy documents across all business areas and these are reviewed at appropriate frequencies with resident input. To help ensure fair and consistent application of our policy documents in housing management and maintenance, we have decided to undertake a wholescale review of the procedures that underpin the policies in these areas. We have recently completed an in-house review of our allocations procedures and now wish to switch our focus to the other service delivery areas. To assist with this, we have decided to engage a suitably experienced consultant to work closely with our Grade 5 to Grade 8 officers.

Whilst it is not possible to be certain about time input at this stage, we anticipate a workplan covering the period up to March 2019 with input from the consultant for approximately two days per month. We expect the consultant to be "hands on", fulfilling a co-ordinating role and making sure that all staff involved in implementing each procedure fully contributes to its development.

If you are interested in this commission, please contact Caroline Shepherd by email (caroline@cernachha.co.uk) for a copy of the brief no later than noon on Friday 11 May 2018.

The closing date for completed submissions will be noon on Monday 28 May 2018.
