How can we attract more young people into a housing career?

SFHA Annual Conference, 14 and 15 June, Radisson Blu Hotel, Glasgow.

Posted In

SFHA’s Annual Conference, Housing Scotland, provides an opportunity for sector leaders to hear from experts, gain skills, and exchange ideas in order to prepare for, and shape, the future of housing in Scotland.

As part of SFHA’s Routes to Housing campaign, this year’s conference, sponsored by AICO, will feature a workshop which will explore what young people aspire to in terms of their career goals and work-life balance as well as how we can develop a more inclusive workplace and attract more young people into the social housing sector.

Calling all young housing professionals – participate in our workshop

SFHA is looking for young housing professionals, under 30-years-old, to take part in this workshop session as we want to hear your thoughts on how we can make housing a career of choice for young people.

We’re looking for people who’re willing to share their views and ideas with our delegates.

Those who take part will get a free conference place.

Limited free places available for young housing professionals

SFHA also has a limited number of free conference day-places available for young people who are under 30 and working within our member housing associations and co-operatives.

Don’t miss the opportunity to hear from housing leaders about the key issues which are affecting your role, organisation, and tenants. You’ll also have a chance to network with other housing professionals from across Scotland.

To apply for a free place or for a chance to be part of the workshop session, please contact SFHA Events Co-ordinator Mollie Stephen by emailing  mstephen@sfha.co.uk by Friday 6 May
