Every November, we stop and remember those who have been killed or injured in military service. But people who leave military service – also known as veterans could use some extra help and support from time to time. As employers and service-providers, social housing providers can make a big difference in the lives of veterans by doing a number of things, including asking applicants if they have every served in the military and by signing the Armed Forces Covenant.
