Aico restructures with a trio of specification managers
Aico, the alarm company, has unveiled its new Scottish team of regional specification managers.
Krys Wallace, Tony Boyle and David Richmond will be providing customers with their extensive knowledge of electrics, fire industry experience and social housing fire support.
Boyle, now Aico RSM for Scotland West, has been an electrician for the past ten years with first-hand experience of fitting Aico product.
Wallace, who will take on the role of RSM for Scotland North, has more varied experience having spent the first ten years of his career in ventilation, before moving to a construction company working in social housing. Also a qualified electrician, he said; “In my latter job I used to buy Aico products. I never had an issue with an Aico alarm – not a single call back in the 500-600 properties we fitted them in. The support they provide is excellent.”
Richmond, the RSM for Scotland East, has over 16 years’ experience in the fire industry, having worked for, amongst others, commercial fire company Tyco Fire in senior management since 2006.
These latest appointments come as part of an expansion and restructuring of the RSM team nationwide.
Aico RSMs provide national coverage and support for Registered Social Landlords, and Electrical Contractors working for them. They also deliver Aico’s CPD accredited Expert Installer training, a free of charge modular training scheme designed to ensure everyone involved in domestic alarm specification and installation has all the information they need.
