Join SFHA's work to improve services to domestic abuse survivors

SFHA has been working with Scottish Womens' Aid to explore ways in which practice across the sector can be improved when it comes to women becoming homeless as a result of domestic abuse. We are now forming a working group of housing association staff we would like members to join.

Beginning in 2013, a group of women in Fife who had become homeless as a result of domestic abuse was supported by Scottish Women’s Aid (SWA) to conduct research into how housing providers, homelessness services and their partners respond to women who contact services following abuse.  They sought to explore both the experiences of women and the knowledge and attitudes of service providers.
