New Scots Housing Sub-Group October 2018 Update

SFHA represents members at the New Scots Housing Sub-group.

This group is co-charied by the Scottish Government and COSLA and brings third sector support organisations and landlords to improve housing outcomes for refugees.

Third Party Hate Crime Reporting

Third party hate crime reporting is a mechanism for accredited organisations to report hate crime on behalf of an individual. Some housing associations are accredited reporting centres. As part of the group we would like to increase awarness of this facility and encourage signposting to these centres or encourage housing associations to be come reporting centres.
