SHR updates regulatory approach and associated guidance
Scottish Housing Regulator publishes updated guidance to take into account ongoing Covid-19 situation.
Following a consultation exercise, the Scottish Housing Regulator has published updated guidance to take into account the ongoing Covid-19 situation. This includes further guidance on the Annual Assurance Statement requirement for 2020, with the deadline for submissions extended to November 2020. This extension was requested by SFHA as part of its response to the consultation.
The SHR has published:
- A Statement on the Regulatory Framework
- A Summary of Consultation Feedback
- Updated Annual Assurance Statement Guidance
- Updated Business Planning Guidance
Lorna Wilson, SFHA Head of Policy, said:
"SFHA welcomes the slight extension to the deadline for the Annual Assurance Statement submission.
"We are currently working on a short supplemental guide to the Self-Assurance Toolkit, to take account of this guidance, and will issue this to members early next week.”
The SFHA is developing a piece of supplemental guidance to the Self-Assurance Toolkit to take account of this revised guidance that will be shared with members within the next week.
