Designing a great service through storyboarding
A storyboard is a series of images or drawings displayed in sequence for the purpose of visualising a process, sequence or experience.
The storyboarding process, in the form it is known today, was developed at Walt Disney Productions during the early 1930s. It is a really quick and easy way to explore how a service might look and feel and provides a quick output (storyboard) which you can share, test and iterate with others. You just need plenty of paper and pens! Here is an outline for a storyboard – give it a go the next time you are reviewing or designing something new.
