Head of Service appointed as ANCHO prepare for new partnership with Cairn Housing Association

Keith Henderson has been appointed as the permanent Head of Service for ANCHO.

Keith brings a range of skills and experience from various roles at ANCHO and other social landlords in Ayrshire, and has been undertaking the role on an interim basis since last year. 

Earlier this summer, ANCHO tenants voted overwhelmingly in favour of a new partnership with Cairn Housing Association and Keith will be a member of the Senior Management Team of the new Cairn Group.

Keith will take up his new permanent role immediately after an ANCHO Special General Meeting on 16th August, when shareholding members will be asked to approve rule changes for ANCHO which will enable the new partnership to begin work. 

Mags Lightbody, who has been interim Director at ANCHO for the last fifteen months, will continue in her role until the partnership with Cairn is formalised and Jason MacGilp, Cairn’s Chief Executive, becomes the Group Chief Executive and Secretary of the new Cairn Group.
