Atrium’s busy elves

Atrium Homes gives back this Christmas.

Posted In

Representatives from Atrium Homes’ Elf Team have been out and about this week delivering Christmas good cheer and gifts to some of the organisation’s very special tenants.

As part of Atrium’s ‘Merry Christmas 2017’ activities, the Elf Team have been out across East Ayrshire delivering small gifts to every Atrium tenant over 75-years-young.

It’s a busy time for the Atrium Elves, as, later in the week, they are linking up with Centrestage for a Christmas Jumper day as well as accompanying Atrium’s own Santa Claus on a surprise visit to Shortlees Primary School and Shortlees Nursery to deliver gifts at their Christmas parties.

The busy week is the brainchild of Atrium’s own #Elfie, but she has drawn on help and resources from inside and outside the organisation to put her plan into operation.

Other aspects of the Elves’ work include co-ordinating donations from staff for the Ayrshire (East) Foodbank and a special Christmas Elves Fund aimed at helping some of Atrium’s tenants and their families enjoy a better festive season than they might otherwise.

#Elfie, or Shelley Gilmour as she’s known for the rest of the year, said:

“We know Christmas is a busy time for Santa’s elves, so we like to give them a helping hand and distribute some Christmas cheer where we can.

“Merry Christmas from everyone at the Atrium Group.”
