Berwickshire Housing Association is currently seeking new trustees for its board.

Berwickshire Housing Association builds and manages homes to rent to suit a range of lifestyles, personal needs and family sizes that people can afford, within the local communities of Berwickshire. With over 1,800 homes across Berwickshire, a total housing stock valued at over £40 million, an annual turnover in excess of £8 million and employing over 80 staff.

Jim McDevitt, BHA Board Convener, said: “The board help the association to steer towards its vision of creating thriving rural communities by continuing to put their customers at the heart of everything the association strives to achieve.

“Berwickshire Housing Association places great value on the contribution of the board. The role of a board member is diverse and brings responsibility for developing and shaping strategy, monitoring and improving performance and improving business effectiveness.”

Helen Forsyth, Chief Executive of Berwickshire Housing Association, said: “We are particularly keen to ensure that our board is made up of people reflecting the diversity of the Berwickshire region and who can also bring a variety of skills and experience to our dedicated board.
