Tradespeople are being offered the chance to find out about Claish Farm housing development opportunities.

An Open Day is being held at Forth Valley College in Stirling on August 16 to hear about work needed for a new 50-unit housing development in Callandar.

Taking place between 10am and 3pm, the event is being organised by housing developer Lovell Partnerships, who will be developing the project after final approvals on behalf of Rural Stirling Housing Association.

Located on a site adjacent to McLaren Leisure Centre in Callander, plans for the Claish Farm development comprise a mix of two, three and four-bedroom homes and a number of specially designed two and three-bedroom bungalows catered to the needs of disabled residents.

The development will also include an informal community recreation area and children’s playground as well as a new pedestrian footpath link to the local primary school and the McLaren Leisure Centre.

Kevin McColgan, regional managing director from Lovell housing, commented: “We are delighted to be working with Rural Stirling Housing Association to deliver 50 much needed new social rented homes in Callendar.

“We are keen to ensure that this development offers real opportunities for local tradespeople in the Callendar area. With our already strong partner base, this is a fantastic opportunity for local trades and the community to work alongside our experienced team.”

To register for the event, email bizdev.scotland@lovell.co.uk.
