Charity begins at Home Fix Scotland

Home Fix Scotland donated £500 to Barnardo's and gifted toys to the i58 project.

Repairs and maintenance contractor, Home Fix Scotland, is helping to spread some Christmas cheer this winter after the organisation donated £500 to Barnardo’s and £400 worth of toys to i58.

With 2020 being a tough year for many people up and down the country, the organisation wanted to ensure that those struggling have something to look forward to on Christmas morning.

Dave Andrews, Home Fix Scotland Contracts Manager, said: “We are proud to support the toy appeal and make this donation to Barnando’s. A lot of the workforce here have kids or grandkids themselves and so it’s great to see that both of these initiatives have been employee-led.

"Christmas can be a particularly tough period for those struggling and we’re hopeful that these donations will help relieve some of the pressure and provide the kids with a little bit of magic on Christmas morning.”
