Fourteen teams joined Lintel Trust for its 25th annual golf tournament recently, raising £6,668 for small community projects across Scotland.
Participants enjoyed some friendly competition at Dalmahoy Hotel and Country Club’s 18-hole West Course, before tucking into a three-course meal and taking part in a charity raffle.
Kate Christie, Senior Business Development Officer at Lintel Trust, said: “A huge thank you to all of our sponsors and the teams that took part.
“It was great to welcome some new faces to the tournament, and we hope everyone will join us again next year.
“We’d also like to thank those who donated raffle prizes and everyone involved in the planning and preparation of the event.”
During the past year, Lintel Trust has distributed over £16,000 of grants to projects benefitting housing association tenants, including Givin it Laldie in the Gorbals, Veterans Voice (DPHS) in Aberdeen City, Silver Lining (Rig Arts) in Greenock, The Gate (Starter Packs) in Alloa, The Food Train in Dumfries and Galloway and Checkin Works in Perth.
In addition, a further £130,000 has been distributed by Lintel Trust on behalf of the Scottish Procurement Alliance (SPA).
