City of Edinburgh council launches accessible housing survey

Edinburgh residents of all ages and living in all types of housing are invited to take part in a survey about accessible housing.

The City of Edinburgh Council has launched a survey about the need for accessible and adapted homes across the City, now and in the future. The survey will help the council, and partners, to understand more about the number of households in Edinburgh who may need housing which is designed or adapted to meet health, disability and frailty needs and support independent living.

Survey results will help to identify the number of accessible homes that are available across the city and the number that will be needed in the future. The findings will be used to inform housing plans.

To make sure that the results are accurate, the council needs to hear from residents across the city, of all ages and living in all types of housing.

All responses will be confidential and anonymous.

Survey will close on 15th October 2021.
