The role of People Director and Business Improvement Manager have been created as a result of successful business growth within Clyde Valley Group (CVG). These two roles have come at a key time when CVG has just launched their new Corporate Strategy 2020-2025. People Director Lisa will be leading on CVG’s new People Strategy and Business Improvement Manager Sarah will be leading on the delivery of transformational change and business improvement projects.

As CVG’s new People Director Lisa has an outstanding track record in organisational development and joins CVG with a wealth of experience. For the last five years she has worked as the Head of Human Resources at South Lanarkshire College, the best performing college in Scotland for overall student achievement. During this time, she led the College in achieving Investors in People Platinum twice.

She has considerable experience in delivering OD and creating a positive culture. Her leadership and experience will ensure that CVG are well placed to successfully deliver the People Strategy with the flex to meet the opportunities and challenges ahead, not least the workplace change resulting from the pandemic. Lisa has an enthusiasm and energy for delivering excellence and in ensuring that people sit at the core of all activities.

Lisa said “I am delighted to be taking on the role as CVG’s new People Director. CVG has an excellent reputation and I look forward to building on this, and to working with its people to create sustainable success and deliver the Corporate Strategy for 2020-2025.”

Sarah brings with her experience in project management and consultancy within Housing and Employability from various public, private and voluntary organisations, most recently Cairn Housing Association. Sarah has enjoyed a varied history of delivering large-scale transformation projects, driving organisations to achieve their goals and deliver customer centric services.

Sarah said “I look forward to leading in the development and delivery of many of the key outcomes including the implementation of a new Contact Centre, CRM and Self Service Portals, enabling CVG to deliver first class services to customers. We want to give customers the opportunity to access services using their preferred channels and ensure colleagues are well equipped to deliver these services.

In an ever-changing world, with the added pressures of COVID-19, it is more important than ever that we are able to respond to change and have the best processes and systems in place. I look forward to the cultural, technological and environmental challenges ahead and the opportunities to deliver change and digital solutions to enable CVG to adapt and improve service delivery, reduce waste, reduce effort and increase satisfaction.”

Lynn Wassell, Chief Executive at CVG, said: “Lisa and Sarah are both exceptional additions to our team and they are determined to make a difference for the benefit of every employee and every customer. We’re all delighted they have joined us and we look forward to working with them.”
