The Energy Savings Trust (EST) are collecting data on any renewable or any storage systems installed in HA properties or land. Any data you are able to provide to them will be used to monitor the Scottish Government’s progress towards its new ambitious target for 1GW of community and locally owned renewable energy to be operational in Scotland by 2020. By completing the renewables survey for your Housing Association you’ll be helping to ensure the Scottish Government have as clear a picture as possible of the current state of community and locally owned energy and the social housing sector’s contribution to this.

The final report will be publicly available on the EST website and will also be circulated to survey participants for your own interest.  Please feel free to use the report for your own research purposes.

To take part in the survey, please contact Fiona Flynn at fiona.flynn@est.org.uk to request a copy of the survey for completion.

The information gathered through the survey will be used to update the community and locally owned renewables database and the associated annual report.  Details of individual projects will not be shared beyond EST and Scottish Government without permission from the project owner or operator. If you have any concerns about how the data is being used, again please contact Fiona Flynn at fiona.flynn@est.org.uk.

For the most recent report please see the EST website.
