Cordale resident celebrates 100th birthday
Milestone birthday for resident.
Cordale Housing Association Chairperson Geraldine McKenzie and Housing Officer Margaret McCallion were delighted to present resident Mrs Clayton with a bouquet of flowers, on behalf of the entire Cordale team, on her 100th birthday on Monday.
Mrs Clayton has been a Cordale resident at Waterside View, Cordale’s supported housing accommodation, for the past nine years, having lived in Dumbarton before that. She has a son, a daughter and a daughter in law, two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Mrs Clayton celebrated her birthday with her family and friends and received a 100th birthday cake. Mrs Clayton declared the secret to living this long is happiness.
Margaret McCallion, Cordale Chairperson, said:
“What a great achievement to get to 100. On behalf of the association, we would like to wish Mrs Clayton our very best wishes for this milestone birthday.”
