Easthall Park celebrates 25th anniversary year with highest ever response to rent consultation
Rent increase approved.
Easthall Park Housing Co-operative’s Management Committee approved a rent increase of 3.2% at their meeting on Wednesday 31 January 2018. The committee said it was delighted to learn that almost one in five tenants (17.58%) had responded to the rent consultation exercise, which is the highest ever response they have ever received.
The co-operative’s 25th anniversary report was also launched on its website. The report is a photographic timeline from 1992–2017, and even looks at what the future may hold, along with details of the co-operative’s current performance and value for money scorecard.
Copies of the report can be downloaded from the co-operative’s website www.easthallpark.org.uk and it is hoped that tenants, service users and other interested parties will enjoy looking back on the past, reviewing the organisation’s performance and having a small glimpse of what may be in the future.
All tenants will receive a hard copy of this report in the post.
Mary Davidson, Chairperson of Easthall Park, said:
“Over the past 25 years, we have worked hard to engage and involve local people in the area, and we wish to mark the end of our anniversary year with this special report. The committee are particularly pleased with the support we receive from tenants and having almost one in five tenants responding to our rent consultation shows how engaged our residents are in our work and the future of Easthall Park.”
