Easthall Park named Not-for-Profit Public Sector Employer of the Year
National award win for co-operative.
The Easthall Park Co-operative is pleased to announce that it was awarded Scotland’s Employer of the Year Award for a not for profit/public sector employer at a prestigious awards ceremony on Thursday 12 October.
Judges said the co-operative “leads by example as an employer”, providing positive role models and opportunities for jobs and qualifications in the deprived areas it operates in.
Presenting the award, host Des Clark said, although Easthall has a small team, “they are certainly very vocal and very proud of their work”. He added:
“The panel felt that this organisation linked employee and community development opportunities to improve the lives of the local community.”
Paul Waddell, Secretary of Easthall Park, said:
“We are particularly pleased to have won this award as it demonstrates that the co-operative not only cares for its staff but also as recognised by the judges our community in which we serve.
“Given this is our 25th anniversary, it is a fitting time to be recognised in this way.”
