The TPAS Scotland National Good Practice Awards return this year to celebrate and reward the the responses and actions of tenants, community members, landlords, contractors, and supporting organisations over the last two years.

With the pandemic having such an impact on tenants, landlords, suppliers and community groups, stories are emerging that showcase determination, transformation and courage across the social housing sector. The National Good Practice Awards want to focus on celebrating and showcasing these important activities.

Award categories include:

  • Best practice in Developing Community Award
  • Best Practice in Digital Involvement Award
  • Best Practice in Involving All Award
  • Group Champion of the Year
  • Organisation Champion of the Year
  • Employee Champion of the Year
  • The Alan Ferguson Champion Tenant or Resident of the Year

Entries should be submitted on the TPAS Scotland website before 27 April 2022.

A category has been created this year to celebrate the work that Alan Ferguson contributed to tenant participation and housing in general over a 40-year period. Mr Ferguson died in 2020 and left a hole in the world of social housing. The Alan Ferguson Champion Tenant or Resident of the Year award will recognise the work of Mr Ferugson himself and the tenant or resident who has done something worthy of celebration.

The ceremony will take place at the TPAS Annual Conference taking place in the Golden Jubilee Hotel from 10–12 June, bringing together TPAS members from across the country face to face.
