First wave of SPA’s refurbishment, minor works and energy efficiency workshops announced
SPA announce workshops to discuss and shape upcoming frameworks.
Scottish Procurement Alliance (SPA) are hosting their first wave of regional Pre Tender Workshops to discuss and shape two of their upcoming frameworks: Whole House Refurbishment and Improvements (WH2) and Energy Efficiency, General Refurbishment and Consultancy (N8).
The workshops will bring together local authorities, RSLs and current SPA partners from across the country to help SPA facilitate a new range of Frameworks and Dynamic Purchasing systems (DPS).
SPA’s intelligent approach to procurement sees them work in collaboration with their partners and the wider housing sector to formulate the structure of their frameworks. This ensures they provide the market with industry leading solutions, addressing the needs of a wide range of partners throughout Scotland.
Workshops have been confirmed for the following regions:
Wednesday 27th March – SPA Offices, Livingston
Monday 15th April – SFHA Offices, Glasgow
Thursday 18th April – North Inch Community Campus, Perth
Tuesday 30th April – County Buildings, Ayr
There will also be events in the Scottish Borders and the Highlands and Islands in the second wave of workshops.
Speaking about the workshops, Graham Collie, SPA Technical Support Manager, said:
“Early engagement with our partners has proven invaluable when setting up complex, technical frameworks. Each framework is different and requires a specific approach to the challenge.
“We would like to invite you to join us to discuss the creation of the framework, the technical requirement which are important to your organisation and the format in which the services can be accessed.”
The seminars are for SPA partners as well as public sector organisations who are interested in sharing ideas and addressing concerns or requirements concerning refurbishment and energy efficiency works.
