Further updates to the Building Standards Technical Handbooks

Following previous updates in May 2022, the Scottish Government has now provided further updates to the Domestic and Non-domestic Technical Handbooks which explain how to achieve the requirements set out in the Building (Scotland) Regulations 2004.The fully revised handbooks now include amendments to section 0 (general) and section 2 (fire) which apply from 1 June 2022; and further amendments to section 3 (environment), section 6 (energy) and section 7 (sustainability) which apply from 1 December 2022.
