Getting ready for registration
Support for providers with the registration of care at home and housing support workers.
This free event, organised by the Housing Support Enabling Unit (HSEU) and Workforce Development Network (WDN), aims to support providers with the registration (from 2 October 2017) of care at home and housing support workers.
Scottish Social Services Council staff will deliver presentations and facilitate discussion on Registration and Fitness to Practise (including PRTL, Codes of Practice and Open Badges).
There will also be a presentation on the Duty of Candour, due to be implemented across all health and social care services in April 2018.
The draft programme is available on the CCPS website (running order subject to confirmation) and the event will be run in both Glasgow on Wednesday 27 September and Edinburgh on Thursday 19 October 2017.
The event is aimed primarily at employers and lunch and refreshments will be provided
