Engagement and Purpose give meaning at any life stage. For older people, the opportunities to engage with purpose can reduce over time. Digital Health and Care Institute wants to explore how housing providers can use technology to improve engagement and purpose for older people and reduce inequality. 

Housing associations, in particular, are often identified as community anchor organisations and, as such, have potential to have a reach beyond their direct customer base.

Following on a previous meeting, this webinar will discuss practical steps that can be taken to facilitate and inspire older citizens to create virtual and real-world communities, starting with understanding their needs.
