Help shape a new digital alarm monitoring system to support independent living

ALLIANCE organises workshop to design a new digital alarm monitoring system.

Posted In

The ALLIANCE is offering a £50 shopping voucher, transport expenses, and to fund backfill cover for housing association staff who attend an upcoming workshop to design a new digital alarm monitoring system.

The ALLIANCE Digital Health and Care team is involved in a project exploring how a digital-based solution could help people live more independently at home. As part of this project, the team has organised a ‘co-design’ workshop on an innovative digital alarm monitoring system.

Taking place on 5 November in Glasgow, the workshop is of particular relevance to housing sector staff who provide home care to people using Telecare services.

This workshop aims to develop a digital alarm system – using a range of technology including consumer devices and sensors – to enhance choices for monitoring and managing risks in the home.

A £50 shopping voucher will be offered to all attendees as a gesture of goodwill. The ALLIANCE will also cover transport costs and backfill cover costs where required. Refreshments and lunch will also be provided.

Further information on this event is available on the ALLIANCE website. To confirm your attendance or to request further details, please contact the ALLIANCE Digital Health and Care team at dhcscot@alliance-scotland.org.uk or 0141 404 0231.
