HHP achieves Committed to Excellence Assessment – 2 star accreditation from Quality Scotland
Prestigious accreditation for housing association.
Hebridean Housing Partnership (HHP) is deleighted to announce that, on 23 January, it was awarded Committed to Excellence Assessment – 2 star accreditation from Quality Scotland.
Committed to Excellence is recognised by the European Foundation for Quality Management (EFQM), and HHP achieved the first level of recognition on the Excellence path – Committed to Excellence Project Validation – in December 2015.
Since then, HHP said it has continued to work hard to develop and improve its approach to the service it offers its tenants and partner organisations. This was recognised following a validation exercise on Thursday 18 January 2018, during which two Quality Scotland assessors interviewed staff and reviewed evidence from the following business areas to determine whether or not the organisation was ready to be awarded the next level of recognition:
• strategy and business results
• customer management
• people management
• process management
• sustainability
HHP said it is serious about continuous improvement and dedicated to the pursuit of Excellence in all that it does and hopes this demonstrates its commitment to tenants, service users, staff and the wider community that it wants to be the best organisation it can be.
Following the visit, Quality Scotland said:
“Staff are very open and honest about what they see as their strengths and their areas for improvement. This is refreshing to see and is a sign of a mature organisation that wants to improve”
Dena Macleod, HHP’s Chief Executive, said:
“The Board and staff are committed to delivering the best service we can to all our customers. Feedback we receive from our customers helps us to keep improving the service. It is great to see our commitment being validated.
