ICT Products Frameworks update - 26 March 2020

During these uncertain times, the Scottish Procurement’s ICT Products Team would like to inform customers that it is working closely with all suppliers on its frameworks to ensure goods are being delivered. All of its suppliers are closely monitoring their supply chains, and many have reduced a number of services to align with UK Government advice. Mobile workstations
The mobile element of the Workstation Framework with XMA has been extended until 15 August 2020. The price of the P53 workstation device has increased slightly, but all other device prices remain unchanged, and the framework continues to offer excellent value for money. Organisations with a requirement for fixed workstation devices are able to source these through the Desktop Client Devices framework with HP Inc.
Apple has transitioned to new higher specifications of the Mac Mini and MacBook Air models, and these are available through the Web Based and Proprietary Device Framework at no increase in cost.
The framework also now includes new Apple iPad Pro 11″ and 12.9″ models. These devices offer a higher specification (64GB to 128GB) at no additional cost and continues to offer excellent value for money on a like for like specification with other comparative frameworks.). New magic keyboards and other accessories are also available for the iPad Pro device.
