Melville Housing Association is a leading provider of high quality housing and housing-related services in central and east Scotland. With over 1,950 homes in management, we have an annual turnover of more than £8m. The Association is a Registered Social Landlord with the Scottish Housing Regulator and is a Registered Scottish Charity.
Melville is led by an experienced Board that has overall responsibility for the governance and strategic direction of the Association. As a Board member, you will be involved with the planning, monitoring and control of high quality, efficient, services to our tenants and service users. The Board works closely with the senior management team to achieve these aims.
As part of our succession planning, we are recruiting new members who have the interest, skills and commitment to help the Association achieve its aims and objectives.
We would be particularly keen to hear from people with a background in one or more of the following areas:
- Strategic management
- Business skills
- Asset management
- People who are living in social housing
- People who have an interest in social housing and related services
