LinkLiving connects with community on Google Digital Garage Bus
Over 30 local people received digital skills training from the experts at Google.
LinkLiving (part of the Link group of social enterprises) hosted the Google Digital Garage Bus at its Link Academy facility in Falkirk on Tuesday 7 August.
As part of the free all-day event, over 30 local people received digital skills training from the experts at Google and enjoyed a BBQ in the Link Academy Garden.
LinkLiving Director Sarah Smith said:
“We were delighted to host the Google Digital Garage Bus as it has brought more much-needed digital training to the people of Falkirk.
“The courses on offer throughout the day have complemented the on-going training the team at Link Academy delivers in relation to employability and skills development.
“Link Academy provides a centralised hub for our successful employability initiatives, which operate across Edinburgh, Falkirk and Fife, and help more people fulfil their potential through employment, training and volunteering.”
Link Academy opened in November 2017 and is located at McKiven House, George Street, Falkirk.
