Lintel Soup set to serve up cash to community projects

New community fundraising initiative brings community organisations and business together for a lunchtime fundraising session.

Lintel Soup, an innovative new community fundraising initiative, will bring community organisations and business together for a lunchtime fundraising session.

For a £5 donation, event attendees can enjoy a hearty bowl of soup whilst they hear pitches from three local community projects.

Kate Christie, Senior Business Development Officer at Lintel Trust, said: “After the pitches, attendees will be asked to vote for their favourite project, with the winning project receiving the funds raised from the day.”

“This year, Lintel Trust will have been providing support and grant funding for community projects across Scotland for 40 years – so we thought we’d celebrate by giving something back to the community.”

Lintel Soup takes place on Thursday 21 November from 12:30 to 14:00 at Saracen House, Possilpark, Glasgow.

Lintel Trust is Scotland’s only grant-giving, fund management charity, find out more at www.linteltrust.org.uk.
