Manor Estates Housing Association is working with Quids In! to provide a range of benefit information and money management tips to tenants.

Each month, tenants will receive an email newsletter offering information and signposts to where other advice is available.

The information will complement advice already offered to tenants through welfare benefit and debt management services provided by the association, working in partnership with other agencies.

Housing Management Director, Carolyn Hughes commented: “This additional resource will help us to offer additional advice and information to our tenants in a simple and cost-effective manner.  It enables us to further progress our aim to reach out to tenants using a range of communication methods and we are looking forward to launching the e-newsletter in August.”

Jeff Mitchell, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Clean Slate Training & Employment (CIC), home to Quids In! added: “This past year has changed the way we live our lives in so many ways. Research shows that people’s digital habits are five years ahead of where they were expected to be. Lockdown simply forced people to get online. It’s so good to be working with landlords who recognise tenants are changing how they pick up information.

“All the best top tips for stretching and growing a limited budget are contained in our monthly money emails. While Quids in! magazine continues to help readers save more and borrow less, our Readers Club emails can take people further. We’re incredibly proud to be working with Manor Estates Housing Association on this.”
